Krissy Clark, MSTOM, Dipl. OM attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, and completed her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine in December 2009. She became a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine in January 2010, which was awarded by the NCCAOM. She maintained a private practice in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago until June 2011. Currently she practices on the west side of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
She also a staff acupuncturist at the Center for Integrative Medicine for Henry Ford Health System.
She is a member of the AAAOM and the MAAOM.
In November 2010, she traveled to Beijing, China to study under Dr. Wang Ju-Yin and various other practitioners. There, she studied channel and meridian therapy as well as pulse diagnosis and Tui Na.
Her specialties include fertility, pre-natal care, women’s health, treatments for the recovery of eating disorders, health and wellness over 50, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression and digestive disorders.
She practices with a more gentle Japanese style technique, which produces little to no needle sensation. Krissy is also trained in traditional Chinese herbology, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, nutritional therapy, and Tui Na.
